Penacook Place Announces Scott Drapeau as New Director of Nursing

Scott Drapeau, Director of NursingToday, Penacook Place, a member of Covenant Health, announced Scott Drapeau has joined its staff as Director of Nursing. Scott will drive the continued success of the nursing department by ensuring exemplary resident care. He has solid clinical, short-term and long-term care experience with a focus on creating policies, coordinating staff and managing daily operations.

“I’m especially pleased to welcome Scott to our dedicated team during the World Health Organization’s Year of the Nurse. He brings a great deal of practical experience to the position, which is an incredibly important role at our facility,” said Paula Drelick, RN and President, Penacook Place. “The quality of our care and safety of our residents are our top priorities. Scott will lead the effort to ensure we not only meet but exceed the expectations of our residents and their families.”

Prior to joining Penacook Place, Drapeau held Director of Nursing and Clinical Reimbursement/Minimum Data Set (MDS) Manager roles at Genesis Healthcare in Chelmsford, Mass. He also worked for Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation as an MDS/Case Manager and Unit Manager. Scott earned his Associate of Science in Nursing at St. Joseph School of Nursing in Nashua, N.H. and an associate degree from Massachusetts Bay Community College in Wellesley, Mass.
