Devon Cormier
President
Devon joined Penacook Place in August 2023. She serves as the President and Administrator for the community and is responsible for daily operations, strategic planning, and business development. Prior to joining Penacook, she held the role of Executive Director at skilled nursing faculties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Interestingly, Devon completed her Administrator in Training, or AIT, at Penacook Place as part of her three-month internship curriculum, before becoming a licensed nursing home administrator, or LNHA.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law, Andover, Massachusetts, and her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, New Hampshire.
Vanessa Bretton
Director of Nursing
Bretton brings more than two decades of nursing experience and extensive healthcare leadership experience across skilled nursing, primary care, hospital-based specialty practices and ambulatory care. Prior to joining Penacook Place, she served as Site Operations Director for Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and held nursing leadership positions with Elliot Hospital, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and Parkland Medical Center.
Bretton earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with honors, from the University of New Hampshire. She is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing.
Maribel Zannini
Director of Admissions/Marketing
Maribel joined Penacook Place in May 2024 as the Director of Admission and Marketing. She brings over 30 years of experience in the health care and long-term care industries. Throughout her career, she has built strong relationships with members of the Merrimack Valley community and previously served on the mayor’s health task force in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Maribel is described as an energetic team player who is outgoing, reliable and enjoys interacting everyone. She resides in Atkinson, New Hampshire.
