Penacook Place is proud to announce it has achieved a deficiency-free survey from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) for the second consecutive year.
This recognition reflects the organization’s continued commitment to providing high-quality care, maintaining strong safety standards and creating a compassionate environment for residents, families and staff.
A deficiency-free survey is a significant achievement for any skilled nursing facility. It means surveyors identified no deficiencies during the comprehensive inspection process, which evaluates areas including resident care, safety practices, staffing, operations and regulatory compliance.
Penacook Place was founded in 1968 by local clergy of Haverhill, Mass., concerned that there was no place for the aging and sick of their community to reside where dignity and respect would always be the cornerstone of their care. Since then, Penacook Place has strived to continue its mission to take care of those within its community with that same dignity and respect. Today, Penacook Place is a member of Covenant Health, and continues to meet that mission and embrace Catholic health care ministry, which is rooted in a commitment to promote and defend human dignity. Sharing the vision of St. Teresa of Kolkata, we strive to be carriers of God’s love. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
Penacook Place continues to focus on resident-centered care while fostering a warm and welcoming environment where comfort, respect and quality remain top priorities.
