Become a Friend of Penacook Place
As the area’s only not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehab facility, Penacook Place has a special relationship with the community and values the many friends who support the facility with their donations. They know that we are here when they need us; and we are grateful that they heed our call and help us uphold our mission and our reputation for quality of life and compassionate care.
Gifts to our annual campaign help support many of our programs
including:
-
Purchase vital new nursing and rehab equipment.
-
Support creative programs for our special care dementia unit.
-
Fund staff education programs in geriatric care.
-
Support quality of life programs for those who call Penacook Place home.
In addition, we have targeted funds to support specific programs such as:
-
Tree Of Dreams Fund: Our award-winning program fulfills residents' dreams. It has been recognized nationally and serves as a model for similar wish-granting programs at other senior-living organizations.
-
Activity Fund: Gifts are used to enhance Penacook's activities program and provide residents with little extras.
-
Dementia Unit Fund: Donations are earmarked for our program that is designed to meet the unique needs of residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of advanced-stage dementia.
-
Employee Fund: At holiday time, family members offer donations for the benefit of all employees. Donations subsidize employee recognition programs and grants to employees based on special needs.

Donations may be made to any fund at any time in memory of or in honor of any individual. Penacook Place will personally acknowledge all gifts according to donors' wishes. All donations are listed in the Penacook Place newsletter, Postings.
