Penacook Place announces Employees of the Month for fourth quarter of 2007

HAVERHILL – Three dedicated Penacook Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff members have been named Employees of the Month for the fourth quarter of 2007. Penacook honors employees of the month during a recognition ceremony at the end of each quarter.

The employees of the month are:  Dietary Aide Jhon Hanson (October), Assistant Director of Recreation Therapy Rosa Rivas (November) and Recreation Therapy Assistant Donna Shaw (December) Employees of the Month are selected by members of Penacook’s management team from a list of nominees. Anyone can nominate an employee, including co-workers, managers, residents and family members.

Hanson, who lives in Haverhill, has been employed at Penacook since November 2006. He was nominated for being a great employee, handling stress well and going above and beyond the call of duty for residents and other staff members. Rivas has been employed at Penacook since October of 1990. She also resides in Haverhill and is a licensed certified nursing assistant. She was nominated for being a hard worker and knowing how to take charge. Before re-joining the Penacook staff in 2001, Shaw had worked at the facility years ago in its Nursing Department. She was nominated for her hard work and leadership. Shaw resides in Bradford.

Located at 150 Water St., the 160-bed Penacook Place is the only not-for-profit nursing and rehabilitation facility serving the city of Haverhill. Penacook Place has a professional staff of 230 employees.
