Penacook Place announces Employees of the Month for second quarter of 2007

      HAVERHILL – Three Penacook Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff members have been named Employees of the Month during the second quarter of 2007. Penacook honors employees of the month during a recognition ceremony at the end of each quarter.
     The employees of the month are: Certified Nursing Assistant Jane Barberio of Haverhill (April), Licensed Practical Nurse Beth Salois of Derry, N.H. (May), and Certified Nursing Assistant Rachel Coco of Lawrence (June). Employees of the Month are selected by members of Penacook’s management team from a list of nominees. Anyone can nominate an employee, including co-workers, managers, residents and family members.
     Barberio has been employed at Penacook since August 2004. She was nominated for being caring, compassionate, responsible and always willing to go above and beyond her duties in providing residents with care. Salois joined the staff in November 2002. She was nominated for being a great asset to Penacook Place. She welcomes input from residents and their families, and is knowledgable, caring, fair, understanding, patient and responsive. Coco has worked at Penacook since September 2005. She was nominated by two residents who say she excels at her job and puts their needs above her own. They can rely on her to be responsive and consistently provide exceptional care.

Located at 150 Water St., the 160-bed Penacook Place is the only not-for-profit nursing and rehabilitation facility serving the city of Haverhill. Penacook Place has a professional staff of 230 employees.
